Download instructions for QChord MP3 sound files.

What is MP3?  A formal definition is "A coding standard for compression of audio data."  In practical terms, MP3 is a file format used frequently on the Internet for audio files, because of the relatively high quality and smaller file sizes achievable.

Assuming you have a reasonably recent version of an Internet browser, like Internet Explorer, or a recent version of your operating system, like Windows, you probably have software for playing MP3 files built in; for example, Windows Media Player.   There are other MP3 players available on the Internet, like WinAmp and Musicmatch Jukebox and others; most have free versions available for download, as well as more sophisticated paid versions.

Sorry, folks, the MP3 sound file links don't always work well, if at all, in older versions of Netscape Navigator; if you're having trouble, please try Internet Explorer, which is built in to most Windows PC's.
